Quantum Physics - What to Do When Things Go Wrong

Digg digg it | Reddit reddit | del.icio.us del.icio.us | StumbleUpon StumbleUpon
Perfection is unattainable in human beings, so eventually some things will go wrong for everyone.

When something doesn't turn out the way you wanted, or when you fail - at a test, at a job interview, at balancing your checkbook, at making a graceful entrance, or whatever the failure, the first thing to do is own your error - in a kind way. Don't beat yourself up! Own your mistake by saying, "Oops. I didn't do that very well." or use some other simultaneously acknowledging and yet forgiving statement.

The next step to take is genuinely feel your feelings, which sounds easier to do than it sometimes is. If you just tripped walking onstage or made a major financial mistake at work, you'll be upset and embarrassed - and who wants to feel that way? It's easier to avoid your feelings when you mess up, but it's important to take responsibility and own everything you do. It's only when you're responsible that you can change it!

After you express - to yourself - your true feelings about what happened you can go about cleaning up the problem and learning from it.

While you're entrenched in an issue, do not ask yourself why you created it, because the automatic answer will be, "Because you're an idiot," or some other equally punishing and unhelpful comment. If it's important for you to know why you created a problem it will become clear to you later. Just deal with the issue, feel your honest feelings, and do what you can to correct it. Then move on!

Remember that quantum physics shows us that we create our realities based on where we place our focus, so let's not focus on what went wrong! Focus on what went right and on what's going to go right in the future.

Synchronicity, God and Quantum Physics

Digg digg it | Reddit reddit | del.icio.us del.icio.us | StumbleUpon StumbleUpon
Nearly everyone has experienced the kind of synchronicity that plays out like a coincidence - you're thinking about someone and she calls you, or you have an uneasy sense about a friend and then hear bad news about him. In quantum physics we learn about non-locality. Experiments in the quantum have shown that one particle seems to "know" what another is doing, even when no apparent signal has passed between them, and the scientific term for that phenomenon is non-locality. These scientific words also describe synchronicity!

Quantum physics shows us that we create our realities at the moment we observe them, so are we also creating these synchronous events? Yes, of course, absolutely we are creating them.

Why would we create such phenomena?

I think we do it to experience our connection with each other and with God or the Higher Power or the Universe - whatever word you use to describe some kind of deity, something that's bigger than just yourself. The magical experience of synchronicity reminds us that we are connected to each other and to God. It reminds us we are not alone.

Quantum Physics and a Expectations for a New World

Digg digg it | Reddit reddit | del.icio.us del.icio.us | StumbleUpon StumbleUpon
Today is an auspicious day in the United States and in the world. With Barack Obama's new presidency come incredibly high expectations. That's good! Quantum physics shows us that we get what we pay attention to, focus on and concentrate on - therefore we get what we expect.

So it's important at a time like this to keep our expectations high. And yet we need to be sure we expect the best and hope for the best without putting the burden of perfection on the new president. Remember that none of us human beings can be perfect! Yet we can put the expectation on President Obama to do an excellent job, to do his best to help the United States and the entire world.

We can envision that the new presidency will bring a fresh outlook and a renewed hope for peace and prosperity in our world.

We each will create what happens in our own private worlds, and this is a good time to decide what kind of a world you will have.

Guided Meditation for Quantum Healing

Digg digg it | Reddit reddit | del.icio.us del.icio.us | StumbleUpon StumbleUpon
Guided meditations have a particular purpose or goal, as opposed to an open meditation or one that uses a mantra or word, where the idea is to experience a peaceful calm. With guided imagery, you follow along in your mind, picturing what is presented to you. You can use this type of meditation to heal yourself or others. Perhaps the guided meditation will have you start out in one place and move to another, or maybe you'll stay in one place but picture something particular in your mind.

For example, if you want to use quantum healing - based on the secrets of quantum physics - to heal a broken bone in your arm, what you do is picture the bone all healed and solid, as if it never had been broken at all. When you follow a guided meditation you relax and listen to different steps - or you can even lead yourself through the steps, maybe repeating a meditation you've heard before or one you just made up. Have in mind what it is you want to accomplish - in the above example you want to heal your arm. Of course, visualizing won't immediately mend that bone! Your belief system would prevent that magical phenomenon, but the visualization will make the healing easier, smoother and successful a process for you.

Create Your Reality with a Light Touch

Digg digg it | Reddit reddit | del.icio.us del.icio.us | StumbleUpon StumbleUpon
One important aspect of using secrets of quantum physics to manifest what you want is that, while you absolutely need to focus on your desire, you don't want to hold it too tightly. Remember our reality is like a mirage - some people use the word "illusion" but I prefer mirage, like an oasis in the desert. A mirage is a trick of light, it's ethereal, magical.

The idea is to make your desire equally light so it can exist in this mirage. If you put too much weight on it - by making it mean too much to you for example - it won't fit into the mirage that is your reality. It will fall right through if it's too heavy.

Focus on what you want, visualize it, hold it lightly, trust that it will be yours, and keep it light!

Hope and Quantum Physics – the Perfect Gift

Digg digg it | Reddit reddit | del.icio.us del.icio.us | StumbleUpon StumbleUpon
What better gift can you give someone than the gift of hope? At this time of global economic upheaval, we need to stay positive. It's not about just saying the words - at the subatomic level, whatever we focus on is what we create, so therefore it is imperative that we genuinely hold onto positive thoughts and feelings, and that we hope for a great outcome. Hope is that blending of optimism, trust and expectation that generates its own energy. No matter how bleak things may look at the moment, remember that everything can change in a flash - quantum physics shows us that change happens in an instant - so we need to trust all will be well and to expect it.

It's also important to keep beauty in your life, even if you have to cut back to the bare essentials. Find some way to provide something non-essential - flowers or even something you make. Surround yourself with messages that you are deserving of nice things and that the future is bright. Those are the messages you want to give your subconscious mind, especially when times are tight, because what's in your subconscious mind is what will manifest in your life.

Understanding Quantum Physics and Gratitude

Digg digg it | Reddit reddit | del.icio.us del.icio.us | StumbleUpon StumbleUpon
You may have heard the phrase "the more gratitude you feel, the more you'll have to be grateful for," and quantum physics absolutely supports this concept!

With our ever increasing understanding of how the world works at the subatomic level, we know that whatever we concentrate on - what we pay attention to - will become evident in our lives. So the more you experience genuine gratitude, the more that feeling, and the corresponding state of being that is gratitude, will appear in your life. The magical thing about it, though, is that gratitude can never be a mere task to check off on your To Do list. It's not about just saying the words - and certainly no one would ever want to claim to feel gratitude as part of a plan to get more, more, more, in some sort of a tit-for-tat exchange!

Gratitude is a beautiful energy that comes from the heart. It's genuine. Feeling gratitude is truly appreciating what you have been given: your life itself, health, loved ones, pets, job, talents and abilities, home and whatever else you have. Without that genuine focus on appreciation, the saying won't work, either. When you honestly value what you have, the gratitude energy concentrates ... and you will, indeed have more to appreciate.

What the Bleep Do We Know – about Preventing Earthquakes!?

Digg digg it | Reddit reddit | del.icio.us del.icio.us | StumbleUpon StumbleUpon
Several years ago I attended a religious service with a friend of mine. On this particular Sunday the sermon was about the movie What the Bleep do We Know!? The minister lambasted the movie, which is about the mysteries of quantum physics. He found it to be a groundless piece of hooey and ended his sermon with the words, "You can't prevent earthquakes."

Naturally I disagree with him most vehemently!

Of course you can - if not prevent earthquakes entirely - at least mitigate them and lessen the damage they can do. With quantum physics nothing is impossible, and everything is possible. Everything! Quantum physics demonstrates that we create our own realities as we experience them, so of course anything and everything is possible.

For those of us who live in California and other places where the earth shifts sometimes, earthquakes are often a consideration if not an actual concern. Years ago I learned a wonderful technique for preventing earthquakes and it's imagery I've adapted and used regularly for nearly 20 years. First I personify the earth as a woman, understanding that she gets uncomfortable from time to time and needs to readjust her position. It's like when your shoe hurts and you move your foot around inside it to get some relief. I picture foam made of white light - it looks like shaving cream - and I see it going into all the earth's fault lines and plates, filling in any and all open spaces. The foam works like shoe pads and makes everything comfortable.

I start by picturing this image beneath California, and then I see the foam spread all over the world. While the foam is filling in all the cracks and crevasses, I think the words, "Calm, comfortable and safe," and it's my intention to keep the earth comfortable - so she doesn't have to make any adjustments!

Although I can't prove it helps, no one, including that minister, can prove it doesn't help, either.

The Secret’s Law of Attraction sounds Wonderful, it's just Not Accurate

Digg digg it | Reddit reddit | del.icio.us del.icio.us | StumbleUpon StumbleUpon

If you saw or read The Secret a couple of years ago, you learned all about the Law of Attraction. The way the Law of Attraction works is that you attract whatever you have in your mind. So that means you need to picture what you want, a new job, for example. You visualize the new job and it will be drawn to you because the cosmic Law of Attraction means that picture in your mind works like a magnet, attracting that new job, which will then show up in your life.

The only problem with the Law of Attraction is, based on how our reality is created, it doesn't describe the way the process of having what you want works. Quantum physics - specifically the wave/particle duality aspect of quantum physics - proves that you are creating what you want, not attracting it.

This cosmic Law of Attraction is not a law in quantum physics, the science that studies the subatomic world inside atoms - atoms that join together to form molecules. It's molecules that make up everything in our world. What we learn from quantum physics is that nothing in our world exists until we create it - at the very moment we observe or experience it. Therefore that new job isn't sitting in some warehouse, maybe in the Sahara Desert or some other low-rent warehouse district. There isn't a warehouse filled with new jobs, houses, cars, new husbands and wives - all just waiting to be drawn like a magnetized metal to your side.

In reality, until we observe it, everything in the world exists as an invisible wave of energy. It is our act of observation that gives it form. As humans, the way we observe - and what determines exactly what we experience - is based on what's in our subconscious minds. The subconscious mind is beyond your normal awareness, so you have to make a special point to access it. Once you access the subconscious mind you can make whatever changes you wish. So to get anything you want, you need to change what's in your subconscious mind. Once you make the necessary changes, you can have that new job or anything else you want.

But you won't succeed by attracting. We are much more powerful than magnets - we are magicians, conjuring up what we want to experience. That means if you don't like what's in your life right now, or you haven't had success "attracting" what you want, you can make changes in your subconscious mind and experience a different reality - one that is more to your liking.

For those of you who've had some success with the Law of Attraction, it's important to realize that you've done above and beyond what is described in The Secret. You haven't attracted what you've brought into your life, you've created it!
