Perfection is unattainable in human beings, so eventually some things will go wrong for everyone.
When something doesn't turn out the way you wanted, or when you fail - at a test, at a job interview, at balancing your checkbook, at making a graceful entrance, or whatever the failure, the first thing to do is own your error - in a kind way. Don't beat yourself up! Own your mistake by saying, "Oops. I didn't do that very well." or use some other simultaneously acknowledging and yet forgiving statement.
The next step to take is genuinely feel your feelings, which sounds easier to do than it sometimes is. If you just tripped walking onstage or made a major financial mistake at work, you'll be upset and embarrassed - and who wants to feel that way? It's easier to avoid your feelings when you mess up, but it's important to take responsibility and own everything you do. It's only when you're responsible that you can change it!
After you express - to yourself - your true feelings about what happened you can go about cleaning up the problem and learning from it.
While you're entrenched in an issue, do not ask yourself why you created it, because the automatic answer will be, "Because you're an idiot," or some other equally punishing and unhelpful comment. If it's important for you to know why you created a problem it will become clear to you later. Just deal with the issue, feel your honest feelings, and do what you can to correct it. Then move on!
Remember that quantum physics shows us that we create our realities based on where we place our focus, so let's not focus on what went wrong! Focus on what went right and on what's going to go right in the future.

One of the most significant and rewarding aspects of using secrets of quantum physics to create what you want is choosing how future events will transpire.
Recently I took a trip from California to the East Coast with my older very bossy and vocal cat, who has never been outdoors except for annual visits to the vet. She cries out loudly every time she is put into the carrier and shivers nervously until we are on our way home. I knew that the plane ride could either be a nightmare with her being upset, meowing loudly and disturbing other passengers, or shivering and causing me alarm. It could also be a smooth trip with her being calm and cooperative. Or the trip could be anything in between.
Most important I knew it would be up to me, that I would create exactly how the trip went as it unfolded. I asked for help from God/Goddess and my Higher Self to make the trip as safe and pleasant as possible.
I told my kitty we were going on an adventure. I said, "You'll be with me every moment. You're going to feel safe, loved and secure and you'll be silent!"
The trip was just fine, through security checks - kitty had to be taken out of her carrier so they could X-ray it - and changing planes. She was in the carrier longer than 13 hours without making a single sound, and without shivering or being upset.
Through the entire trip I myself felt loved and cared for and very grateful that things went so well. My part of the process was choosing that the journey would go smoothly, asking for help so that it would be a co-creation, and accepting that the ease of the trip was a gift. Creating your reality is a paradox: you are creating it AND you are receiving it as a gift.
How will you create your next endeavor?

The Law of Attraction says you just think of what you want and you will attract it to you. While it does seem to work that way sometimes, the idea is misleading, as quantum physics proves. In fact, until you observe or experience your reality, it exists as invisible waves of energy. You aren't attracting anything, therefore, because you are observing it into reality - that new job isn't sitting somewhere just waiting for you to visualize it so it can be drawn to you.
Since we live in a physical reality, it helps to take an action to help you manifest what you want in your reality. What that means is that if you do something, say start taking vitamins, it will help you bring about the reality of improved health, for example. Without a physical action it is more of a stretch, and it can be your own beliefs that could prevent you from creating what you want.
So think about what you want and come up with a way to help you get there - if it's a new relationship, for example, sign up for an online dating service or go to a singles dance. You won't necessarily meet your new partner that way, but it will help you open to the possibility of a relationship. Taking action will solidify your beliefs and create the new reality for you!

One important aspect of using secrets of quantum physics to manifest what you want is that, while you absolutely need to focus on your desire, you don't want to hold it too tightly. Remember our reality is like a mirage - some people use the word "illusion" but I prefer mirage, like an oasis in the desert. A mirage is a trick of light, it's ethereal, magical.
The idea is to make your desire equally light so it can exist in this mirage. If you put too much weight on it - by making it mean too much to you for example - it won't fit into the mirage that is your reality. It will fall right through if it's too heavy.
Focus on what you want, visualize it, hold it lightly, trust that it will be yours, and keep it light!

What we see with quantum physics is that you get what you focus on, what you choose. When something is out of kilter with your body and you need to take some kind of medication, whether it's allopathic (regular prescriptions or over the counter) or some alternative like homeopathic medicine, you can decide what your results will be - even if the results are not listed on the label!
It's you who will decide that the medicine will work - or that it won't work, depending on what's in your subconscious mind.
Before you take any medication, then, think about how much you want to be healed of your malady. Decide that this medication is exactly what you need, and remind yourself each time you take it that it's going to solve whatever health problem you have.
It's your reality and your choice to allow this medication to cure you that will allow it to work. Always remember that the decision is up to you alone, regardless of what you're told, what the statistics say or what anyone else's experience is.
It's your choice.

Several years ago I attended a religious service with a friend of mine. On this particular Sunday the sermon was about the movie
What the Bleep do We Know!? The minister lambasted the movie, which is about the mysteries of quantum physics. He found it to be a groundless piece of hooey and ended his sermon with the words, "You can't prevent earthquakes."
Naturally I disagree with him most vehemently!
Of course you can - if not prevent earthquakes entirely - at least mitigate them and lessen the damage they can do. With quantum physics nothing is impossible, and everything is possible. Everything! Quantum physics demonstrates that we create our own realities as we experience them, so of course anything and everything is possible.
For those of us who live in California and other places where the earth shifts sometimes, earthquakes are often a consideration if not an actual concern. Years ago I learned a wonderful technique for preventing earthquakes and it's imagery I've adapted and used regularly for nearly 20 years. First I personify the earth as a woman, understanding that she gets uncomfortable from time to time and needs to readjust her position. It's like when your shoe hurts and you move your foot around inside it to get some relief. I picture foam made of white light - it looks like shaving cream - and I see it going into all the earth's fault lines and plates, filling in any and all open spaces. The foam works like shoe pads and makes everything comfortable.
I start by picturing this image beneath California, and then I see the foam spread all over the world. While the foam is filling in all the cracks and crevasses, I think the words, "Calm, comfortable and safe," and it's my intention to keep the earth comfortable - so she doesn't have to make any adjustments!
Although I can't prove it helps, no one, including that minister, can prove it doesn't help, either.

Is it "just" semantics that separates the two words? A dear friend of mine once said that words are all we human beings have to communicate with, so we need to be accurate with them!
The difference between creating our realities, as opposed to merely attracting them, is that creating bears a much greater responsibility. When you create something you are totally responsible for it - whether it is a painting, a relationship with someone you love, a job - whatever it is. Attracting it is more passive, in that what you attract already exists somewhere and you are acting like a magnet, drawing it to you. Creating takes more courage! You are completely responsible for what you create - and that is indeed how we manifest our realities, on a subatomic level, and based on what's in our subconscious minds.
With responsibility comes authority - you can absolutely have what you want, and visualizing is an important part of getting it, but first you must be sure that you have a fertile field in which to plant the seed of your desire: your subconscious mind cannot hold any contradictory decrees or what you want won't appear. If you have a belief that you'll never fall in love or never succeed, or some other limitation, it will prevent your having that relationship or success ... and you need to change the belief first, so you can have it!

If you saw or read The Secret a couple of years ago, you learned all about the Law of Attraction. The way the Law of Attraction works is that you attract whatever you have in your mind. So that means you need to picture what you want, a new job, for example. You visualize the new job and it will be drawn to you because the cosmic Law of Attraction means that picture in your mind works like a magnet, attracting that new job, which will then show up in your life.
The only problem with the Law of Attraction is, based on how our reality is created, it doesn't describe the way the process of having what you want works. Quantum physics - specifically the wave/particle duality aspect of quantum physics - proves that you are creating what you want, not attracting it.
This cosmic Law of Attraction is not a law in quantum physics, the science that studies the subatomic world inside atoms - atoms that join together to form molecules. It's molecules that make up everything in our world. What we learn from quantum physics is that nothing in our world exists until we create it - at the very moment we observe or experience it. Therefore that new job isn't sitting in some warehouse, maybe in the Sahara Desert or some other low-rent warehouse district. There isn't a warehouse filled with new jobs, houses, cars, new husbands and wives - all just waiting to be drawn like a magnetized metal to your side.
In reality, until we observe it, everything in the world exists as an invisible wave of energy. It is our act of observation that gives it form. As humans, the way we observe - and what determines exactly what we experience - is based on what's in our subconscious minds. The subconscious mind is beyond your normal awareness, so you have to make a special point to access it. Once you access the subconscious mind you can make whatever changes you wish. So to get anything you want, you need to change what's in your subconscious mind. Once you make the necessary changes, you can have that new job or anything else you want.
But you won't succeed by attracting. We are much more powerful than magnets - we are magicians, conjuring up what we want to experience. That means if you don't like what's in your life right now, or you haven't had success "attracting" what you want, you can make changes in your subconscious mind and experience a different reality - one that is more to your liking.
For those of you who've had some success with the Law of Attraction, it's important to realize that you've done above and beyond what is described in The Secret. You haven't attracted what you've brought into your life, you've created it!
